Job Title : System Software Programmer Location :- Columbia SC --- Remote Duration: 12 months with extension Candidate location: Current SC residency is required. No relocation or nationwide candidates allowed. These individuals will focus on the modernization of legacy computer systems, assist with modifications to computer systems to ensure upgrade compatibility from older to newer platform environments, application modifications to meet Dep and agency security standards, assist with application evaluation and build specifications, and follow industry best practices. Emphasis will be placed on supporting administrative systems and work in a team environment responsible for these efforts. Reporting functionally will be focused on Microsoft RDLC, SSRS, and O365 PowerBi. Required Skills (rank in order of importance): 1. 5+ years of experience with asp mvc framework 2. 5+ years of experience with c# 3. 5+ years of experience with visual studio 4. 5+ years of experience with .net framework 5. 5+ years of experience with sql 6. 3+ years of experience with db2 Preferred Skills (rank in order of importance): 1. Version source code (tfs, git) 2. Admin system experience related to hr practices, financial billing, and data security (pi, phi) Soft skills: 1. ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers, and others involved in data-centric management. 2. excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related
