Who We Are:

Servicon is a leading facilities services company headquartered in Culver City, CA, delivering janitorial, maintenance, and environmental services to clients across Southern California and nationally — including clients in aerospace, healthcare, and commercial real estate. Our corporate IT team manages the technology infrastructure and systems that support all back office and business operations, spanning enterprise platforms, end-user computing, SaaS applications, and a hybrid cloud/on-premises environment. The intern will work within that corporate IT function, not in field operations.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support day-to-day corporate IT operations in a primarily Windows and iOS environment. This is a hands-on role in a live enterprise setting with direct mentorship from the IT Manager. The ideal candidate is a student in the later stages of a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program who is ready to apply their knowledge in a real-world environment beyond the classroom.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk support for Windows workstations and iOS mobile
    devices
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding workflows including account provisioning and
    device setup
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) operations for iOS devices
  • Assist with SaaS application administration, including Microsoft 365
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and monitoring tasks
  • Document procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions in the IT knowledge base
  • Provide general IT operations support during an active HRIS system implementation
  • Escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear communication with end users
What It Takes To Be Successful:
  • Foundational understanding of Windows OS administration (Windows 10/11)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or Azure Active Directory concepts
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals — DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Exposure to iOS device setup and basic troubleshooting
  • Comfort working in a SaaS-heavy environment (Microsoft 365 preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with general direction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to hybrid infrastructure (on-premises + cloud)
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune
  • IT certifications in progress or completed — CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc.
Why You Will Love It Here:
  • Hands-on experience in a live enterprise IT environment supporting real users and real
    systems
  • Direct mentorship and exposure to Executive Director of IT, IT Manager, and Sr Systems
    Administrator
  • Practical skills across IT operations, endpoint management, MDM, and SaaS
    administration

Position Details

  • Duration: 6–9 month assignment
  • Pay Rate: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hours: 24–30 hours per week
  • Schedule: Core hours are 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with flexibility to work additional hours through 5:00 PM
  • Location: Hybrid schedule with up to 2 days per week in our Culver City office
