Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and support computer networks, information systems, and ERP infrastructure. This role is responsible for daily system health, hands-on help desk support, cybersecurity, and technology improvements that improve productivity, security, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong ERP experience, system administration skills, and the ability to read, modify, or develop code when needed. The position requires someone who can troubleshoot effectively, communicate clearly with users, and balance system stability with continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will also be comfortable taking ownership of ERP discussions, upgrades, integrations, and user-driven enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor system performance, security, and overall health of network and information systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and desktop support issues
Provide responsive help desk support to internal users
Evaluate technology needs and recommend hardware and software upgrades
Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Teams-based phone systems
Maintain wireless communications and messaging platforms
Train and educate users on technology best practices
Identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and implement appropriate safeguards
Support and maintain ERP software, databases, integrations, and customizations
Develop or enhance custom business solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection initiatives
Collaborate with external technology partners and consultants to optimize system performance
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Required:

3–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills
Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service

Preferred:

Experience with ERP system management
Manufacturing or job-shop industry experience
Experience gathering business requirements and developing custom solutions
Knowledge of automation and process improvement initiatives
Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning
