This position will serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for complex infrastructure issues while contributing to modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Support virtualization platforms including VMware and/or Hyper-V.
    • Maintain enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
    • Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity across infrastructure platforms.
    • Participate in infrastructure lifecycle management, including system upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.

    Cloud & Platform Services

    • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID.
    • Assist with administration of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and other cloud-hosted infrastructure services.
    • Support hybrid identity and hybrid infrastructure environments.
    • Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

    Security & Compliance

    • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls in partnership with Information Security teams.
    • Perform vulnerability remediation, patch management, system hardening, and access reviews.
    • Support endpoint security, identity security, privileged access management, and logging initiatives.
    • Assist with compliance, audit, and governance activities.
    • Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related security incidents.

    Automation & Operational Excellence

    • Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, diagrams, and operating procedures.
    • Improve operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, and process optimization.
    • Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed.

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
    • Mentor junior administrators and technical support personnel.
    • Collaborate with networking, security, application, and business teams to deliver technology solutions.
    • Work with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 7+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
    • Strong experience administering Windows Server environments.
    • Working knowledge of Linux administration (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
    • Experience managing Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
    • Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
    • Experience with PowerShell and at least one additional scripting language such as Bash or Python.
    • Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
    • Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies.
    • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience administering Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure and services.
    • Experience with Autopilot and modern endpoint management.
    • Familiarity with Linux server administration in production environments.
    • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, automation, or configuration management tools.
    • Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity initiatives.
    • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
    • Microsoft, VMware, Red Hat, or Azure certifications.
    • Experience supporting distributed or global organizations.
