IT Technical Analyst
Location: Remote (Travel to client site as needed)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Analyst to support the OMS System Integration project within a utility operations environment. This role will collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, vendors, and project leadership to support requirements gathering, OMS configuration, testing, reporting, system integration, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting utility technology implementations, data management initiatives, and system integration testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead report creation from requirements gathering through development and testing
- Support project documentation and progress tracking in coordination with the Project Manager
- Assist with configuration of ADMS/OMS with existing utility systems
- Support outage management workflows including:
- Call handling
- Job creation
- Job closure
- Reporting
- Collaborate with System Integration Leads on:
- Technical requirements gathering
- Technical data migration
- Interface development
- OMS configuration
- System integration activities
- Create and execute:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- End-to-End (E2E) testing
- Performance testing
- Support:
- Operational Readiness Review
- Cutover planning
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Training activities
- Deployment and Hypercare support
- Document, review, track, and troubleshoot defects during testing cycles
Required Technical Skills
- Experience implementing technology projects within the utility industry including:
- Generation
- Transmission
- Distribution
- Experience with:
- OMS implementation
- ADMS/OMS configuration
- System integration
- Utility operational environments
- Strong utility data management experience
- Ability to identify data quality issues and perform root cause analysis
- Experience developing and implementing data validation strategies
- Strong understanding of:
- Functional testing
- Integration testing
- Regression testing
- Performance testing
- Experience executing:
- SIT testing
- E2E testing
- Smoke testing
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve defects during testing activities
- Strong data collection, documentation, and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience testing ESRI GIS UN
- AspenTech/Emerson experience
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in:
- Business
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Related field
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of business and/or IT analysis experience
- Experience implementing technology projects in utility environments preferred
