Job Responsibilities:

Position Overview

Responsible for the administration of systems, diagnosis of faults, repairs and licensing. Monitors computer/process related equipment. Maintain computer networking, including hardware and software at the facility. Oversee client operating systems. Supports IT related production systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor computer/process related equipment.
  • Maintain computer networking, including hardware and software assembly.
  • Oversee operating systems, install and or remove software as necessary.
  • Train users in the basic operation of pc hardware and software and related office components (i.e. printers, copiers, facsimiles, etc.).
  • Monitor assigned system component on a 24 hour/7 day basis. Responds to system malfunctions and takes indicated corrective action during/after normal business hours.
  • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software, both independently and at the request of the IT Manager.
  • Follows procedures to ensure system and equipment security and to protect file integrity.
  • Install, configure and support the company (LAN/WAN) and internet system, monitor network including internal and external security measures, monitor assigned system components 24 hours/7 days per week, and respond to system issues.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Associates Degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Special Knowledge & Skills

  • Must know client operating systems (Windows 11)
  • Basic networking skills, A++ certification a plus
  • Excellent communication and able to follow direction
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
