We're hiring an IT Technician to Live. Work. Explore. at the south rim of the Grand Canyon!
Job Summary:The IT Technician provides direct support to the property's end user community including desktop support, end user application support, network and security resolution, phone support and timely response to IT support requests and tickets. Opportunities to work with management and colleagues on more sophisticated issues/projects. Server, telecom and network maintenance tasks as needed and assigned.
The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay: $20.95 per hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintenance of computers and peripheral equipment throughout the property including, but not limited to desktops, laptops, tablets, point-of-sale, printers, monitors and payment terminals.• Checks Department support ticket queue frequently and assigns and completes IT helpdesk tickets throughout scheduled shifts.• Works alone and with colleagues in the day-to-day operation of the computer facilities and IT operations throughout the property.• Required to serve in an on-call duty rotation for after-hours/non-business hours support, and to assist with coverage as needed.• Helps to ensure integrity of applications, files, documents, backups and databases.• Keeps and maintains records and logs for various systems, as required.• Assists with training of new IT Technicians as required.• May be assigned to act as primary technical contact for the property if and when IT Management is unavailable or off-property.• Assists colleagues and management with decisions on proper troubleshooting and corrective action procedures when needed.• Works with vendors and software and hardware support personnel as needed.• Installs and maintains desktop computers, laptops, printers, phones, point-of-sale, peripherals, and software as needed.• Works in conjunction with IT Management to maintain and troubleshoot network systems.• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:• Proficiency and experience with technical troubleshooting of various systems.• Background in hospitality point-of-sale systems.• Experience with/understanding of Payment Card Industry (PCI-DSS) compliance requirements and standards.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Experience with POTS and VoIP Telephone Systems and voicemail.• Functional knowledge of computer hardware and components.
Required Qualifications:• Must possess a valid Driver's License• Must be willing to convert to an AZ Driver's License within 90 days and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.• Must be at least 19 years old.
