IT Technician I - Fremont, OH (full-time, on-site)
About The Job -
Assists the IT Department in maintaining an effective bank-wide Information Systems Department in mainframe, network, and PC Environments.
Hours -
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Saturday support on rotation
Essential Job Duties –
- Responds to and troubleshoots Help Desk request / tickets.
- Responsible for the triage, support and timely follow-up on critical issues.
- Responsible for performing routine follow-up on open issues.
- Proactively monitor support tickets to prevent larger issues from occurring.
- Installs and maintains PC / workstation software, and installs, replaces, relocates, and maintains PC / workstation hardware and related components without direct supervision.
- Assists in installing, operating, monitoring and maintaining the bank's networks.
- Tests new hardware and software.
- Develops, documents and effectively communicates job processes, procedures and techniques, including resolutions for future reference with FAQ documentation.
- Maintains a high level of proficiency in using help-desk systems and tools.
- Develops and conducts training programs to orient new employees and to enhance the skills of existing employees.
- Complies with and maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Completes assigned compliance training essential to job function.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Requirements -
- Associate's Degree in a technology-focused course of study
- 1-3+ years of prior IT/technology related experience
- General Knowledge of M365 Operating System
- Must possess valid driver's license in order to travel to various bank offices
- Must be able to work independently and with little supervision
- Must also be able to effectively work on and prioritize multiple projects
