POSITION OVERVIEWThe IT Technician II is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software property-wide. The IT Technician II will also be the main point of contact for Members who are experiencing computer issues and will coordinate any IT related infrastructure and development challenges with the Director of IT Operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Work alongside contractors to install IT hardwareAbility to focus and resolve issues or challenges that were not solved by the IT Tech IManage and elevate/resolve issues when appropriateAssist Members with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of workstationsInstall, configure, and verify functionality of approved hardware and software using standard operating proceduresAssist Members with computer problems and answer their questionsUser provision using an array of systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, etc.Perform initial troubleshooting in person or remotely if neededCoordinate the needs of in-house IT users and remote Members, vendors, and contractorsReplace IT equipment such as monitors, desktops, laptops, etc. when neededReimage desktops and laptops when they need to be refreshedAssess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demandsProtect customer data from infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary measuresRMA IT hardware when necessary with multiple vendorsAssist in the discussions and deployment of temporary hardware setups for eventsTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 21 years of age.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo plus (2+) years of experience in computer networks and system maintenance for a large-scale luxury resort/casinoTwo plus years of experience in computer networks and system maintenance for a large-scale luxury resort/casinoExperience with troubleshooting Point of Sale EquipmentExperience with networking and infrastructure technologiesAbility to mentor and train Level 1 techniciansFamiliarity with project management and implementation of new technologiesCertifications (e.g. CompTIA, A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) preferredExcellent IT, communication, and leadership skillsExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsIn depth knowledge and understanding of IT Security and data privacy principles, and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audienceOutstanding organizational and time-management skillsProven experience as an IT technician or comparable positionMicrosoft 365 Basic UnderstandingAbility to work with non-IT team members to resolve their technology issuesAbility to open and close tickets for incidents, changes, work orders, etc.Ability to create an SOP for certain items that may not be documented and can be used for training purposesMust be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekendsWork in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environmentSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job does not have supervisory responsibility.DIVERSITY COMMITMENTFontainebleau Las Vegas is committed to ensuring an inclusive space and sense of belonging for our Members.
