ROLE SUMMARY
The IT Support Technician II provides hands-on, on-site technical support to ensure the consistent and reliable operation of IT systems across multiple company locations. This role plays a key part in supporting end users, maintaining IT assets, and resolving technical issues that directly impact daily operations. Working independently and in collaboration with broader IT teams, this position helps deliver a high-quality support experience and contributes to ongoing IT initiatives across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests in a timely and effective manner
• Install configure and maintain desktops laptops peripherals and standard software applications
• Support end users with new hire setups account access and workstation configuration
• Manage IT assets including inventory tracking deployment refreshes and equipment disposal
• Conduct regular site visits to assess local IT needs risks and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to support systems integrations upgrades and projects
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities processes and technical procedures
• Train and guide end users on IT systems tools and best practices
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies security standards and procedures

KEY REQUIREMENTS
• 2 or more years of experience in IT support desktop support or field operations roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong working knowledge of computer hardware operating systems basic networking and common business applications
• Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills with minimal direction
• Experience with IT asset management and end user support in a multi-site environment
• Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and travel as needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support non technical users
• Willingness to travel up to 50 percent and provide occasional after hours or on call support
• CompTIA A+ Network+ or similar certifications are a plus
