IT Support Technician
Location: Osceola, IA / Creston, IA
Schedule: Field-based role: approximately 3 days/week onsite in Osceola and 2 days/week supporting a secondary regional location within a 35-mile radius
Salary: $45,000–$50,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and technology systems across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users, and working independently while also collaborating with a broader technology team.

The technician will assist with device setup, maintenance, installations, upgrades, and day-to-day technical support for staff and clients. This position includes a combination of onsite support in Creston and travel to nearby sites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and related technology equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and applications
  • Set up new equipment and assist with technology deployments
  • Support audio/visual equipment and conference technology as needed
  • Document service requests, resolutions, and inventory records
  • Assist users with technology-related questions and training
  • Participate in technology projects, initiatives, and ongoing improvements
  • Support events, meetings, and other organizational technology needs
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology, or related field preferred
    OR equivalent combination of education and technical support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows-based computer environments and common peripherals
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
  • A+ Certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year
Preferred Experience
  • Desktop support or help desk experience
  • Hardware/software installation and maintenance
  • Audio/visual or conference room technology support
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or field users
