Location : Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate : $30/HR

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hardware and software inventory, providing front-line support for desktop systems, and performing basic troubleshooting for end users. This role ensures that all IT assets are tracked accurately, and that staff receive timely technical assistance to maintain productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and track IT inventory including computers, peripherals, software licenses, and other equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 desktop support to staff across the organization.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assets, support requests, and resolutions.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by setting up user accounts and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repair or replacement of faulty equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
  • Participate in routine audits of technology assets and user access.
  • Support other IT functions and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant IT certifications required (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with asset management tools or IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
  • Knowledge of imaging software and deployment processes.
