We are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter with a strong specialization in VMware technologies to support hiring across infrastructure, cloud, and virtualization teams. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent with deep expertise in VMware products such as vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and VMware Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical recruiting skills with a solid understanding of enterprise IT environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and technical leaders to understand workforce needs related to VMware and infrastructure roles.

·       Manage full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation) for VMware-focused positions, including:

o   VMware Engineers

o   Infrastructure Architects

o   Cloud Engineers

o   Systems Administrators

o   SRE / Platform Engineers

·       Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-find VMware talent using:

o   LinkedIn, job boards, and resume databases

o   Networking, referrals, and technical communities

·       Screen candidates for both technical capability and cultural fit, with emphasis on VMware environments and tools.

·       Build and maintain a strong pipeline of VMware-skilled candidates for current and future needs.

·       Stay current on VMware product updates, certifications, and market trends to better assess candidate qualifications.

·       Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers regarding labor market conditions, salary benchmarks, and hiring timelines.

·       Ensure a positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

·       Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with hiring policies.



Required Skills

·     5 + years of experience in IT or Technical Recruiting

·       Demonstrated experience recruiting for VMware or infrastructure-focused roles

·       Working knowledge of VMware technologies, including:

o   vSphere, ESXi, vCenter

o   NSX, vSAN

o   VMware Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

·       Strong sourcing and talent-mapping skills for niche technical talent

·       Ability to translate technical requirements into effective recruiting strategies

·       Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience recruiting for enterprise IT, cloud, or data center transformation initiatives

·       Familiarity with VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCDX)

·       Experience supporting MSP, cloud services, or large-scale enterprise environments

·       ATS and CRM experience (Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or similar)
