Program: Special Education - Visually Impaired Support

Description: The LIU 12 Blind/Visually Impaired Support Program provides specially designed instruction to students whose visual impairment adversely impacts their ability to access their education in both regular and special education settings. IU 12 provides vision evaluations, consultations, and ongoing support services that are integrated into the child's least restrictive environment. Travel is required for this position.

Qualifications:

  • Valid PA Teaching Certification: Special Education - Visually Impaired PK-12

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 190 Days/year (Follows the traditional school year schedule)

Salary:

Bachelors Degree starting minimum: $62,011.15 plus excellent benefits.

Master's degree starting minimum: $66,511.15 plus excellent benefits.

(higher starting placement available for master's degrees with 45+ credits),
