Job Description:
The ITOM – Azure ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions with a strong focus on Azure cloud integrations. This role supports enterprise infrastructure visibility while ensuring scalable, compliant, and upgrade-safe solutions aligned with Vertex standards.
This role is anticipated to be a 3 month project, possibility to extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping.
- Integrate ServiceNow with Microsoft Azure for cloud resource discovery, monitoring, and automation.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow APIs and Azure services.
- Configure MID Servers and ensure reliable connectivity for on-prem and cloud environments.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of ITOM and Azure integrations.
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development.
- Strong experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
- Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft Azure (Azure Monitor, Azure APIs, ARM templates).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with MID Server configuration and infrastructure integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure management concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Pay Range:
$75-$85/hr
