    Title: ITS Classroom Central Senior Engineer Agency VP DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & TECHNOLOGY Location: Norfolk, VA FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: Full Time or Part Time Full Time Additional Detail

    Job Description:

    The individual in this role will oversee project management and design for audio-visual technology projects at the university. They will manage the audio-visual design team and assess new and innovative technologies for use in academic learning spaces.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Considerable knowledge of the technical installation of digital audio visual systems. • Considerable knowledge in the design configuration and support of media systems and technology equipment to include digitally computer-based audio and video systems with output from various sources. • Working knowledge of interface of digital media equipment with computer technology. • Working knowledge of desktop operating systems, networking concepts, and office applications. • Working knowledge of control system programming. • Working knowledge to troubleshoot complex audio video and control systems problems.

    Effective Communications Skills:

    • Excellent customer service skills. • Demonstrated ability to understand customers needs effectively and communicate options for problem resolution to customers.

    Project Management Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects. • Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors and University community. • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities. • Demonstrated ability to independently apply technical judgment and skills to determine solutions.
