The End-User Support Specialist provides technical support for the organization's end-user computing environment. They ensure the functionality, performance, and security of all desktop systems, software, and related peripherals. This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining desktop infrastructure while assisting users with technical issues
Associate's degree in computer science or related field and three years of experience in a related field OR any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation or have current certification less than three years old from date of hire. Proficiency with Windows and Apple operating systems. Knowledge of desktop imaging and deployment tools like SCCM, Intune, or similar. Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy. Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be able to organize and prioritize workload and work with minimum direction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Accurate and precise attention to detail. Must have a valid Illinois Driver's license. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
