Information and Technology Services (ITS) at the University of Michigan' Ann Arbor is seeking a Facilities Manager to join the ITS Facilities team. ITS supports the university's academic, research, and administrative missions by delivering secure, innovative, and reliable technology services across Ann Arbor, Michigan Medicine, and the Flint and Dearborn campuses.
We are looking for a highly adaptable, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. This role requires a collaborative mindset, and the ability to think both tactically and strategically connecting day-to-day requests to broader organizational goals.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. Normal amount of sitting, average mobility to move around an office and other facility environments; able to conduct work at a computer; will require travel to various locations on and off campus. May require working during non-business hours and on weekends.
Responsibilities may require accessing and surveying workspaces at ceiling height or higher; ascend/descend ladders, working on building interiors and exteriors including grounds, building roofs, crawl spaces, equipment rooms and other areas where space may be confined. Requires site visits for projects, which may include field surveys of active building construction sites. Wearing safety equipment is mandatory as situation requires including but not limited to appropriate clothing and shoes, eye protection, and noise protection devices.
