About the Role:
The Traffic Signal Installer plays a critical role in the construction and maintenance of Traffic Signals by installing, testing, and maintaining traffic signal equipment and related infrastructure. This position ensures that traffic signals and communication devices operate efficiently and safely to support traffic flow and public safety. This role requires working closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to interpret technical plans and specifications accurately. The Signal Installer is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with signal systems to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, this position contributes to the enhancement of transportation infrastructure through precise and reliable installation and maintenance of Traffic Signal components.

The Signal Installer uses technical skills daily to interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints, ensuring precise installation of signal equipment. Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with engineers and project teams to align installation activities with project goals. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are critical when working with electrical components and in construction environments. Additionally, proficiency with specialized tools and testing devices supports accurate system verification and maintenance. Knowledge of construction and assembly of Traffic Signal support systems preferred.
