Position Overview Indiana University Health is seeking patient-centered, collaborative, and supportive Anesthesiologists to join our growing teams across Indiana, location(s) include IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice in both academic and community hospital settings with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient care.
Position Highlights
Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Case variety may include general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more
Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine
Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects
Call responsibilities required (varies by site)
Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists
Visa sponsorship (H-1B) available
Qualifications
Residency training in Anesthesiology (required)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required)
Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license (required)
Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills valued
Open to both experienced providers and new graduates
