Job Summary:The IV PICC Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of theirassigned patients. This includes the supervision of assigned personnel, knowledge of department andhospital policies and procedures, and effective communication skills. The primary responsibilitiesinvolve the placement and management of PICC lines, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Compensation:Salary Range: $31.67 - $47.50 per hour (based on experience)No Sign-On Bonus or Relocation Assistance AvailableShift: Full-time, No Weekends
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license required
2-3 years of acute care PICC experience required
PICC Certification mandatory (please submit certificate with application)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications must be
obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Strong interpretive, interactive, and consultative skills
Excellent written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring PICC lines
Supervise and mentor assigned personnel
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures
Document patient care accurately and promptly
