## Description The IVC Assistant helps to deliver reliable, high-quality interactive video conferencing for classes, meetings, and special events. The position supports IVC facilitator training and the creation of training materials. The successful candidate will work with the IVC system, Webex, Canvas, audiovisual equipment, a recording server, and educational technology that supports teaching and learning. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys technology and takes pride in helping faculty, staff, and students succeed through innovative educational technologies. This is a full-time, 11-month benefited position. ## Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** •Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience •Strong oral and written communication skills •Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and audiovisual technology •Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow established procedures •Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team •Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment •Dependable, professional, and service-oriented •Ability to communicate technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise •Flexibility to adjust work schedule for occasional early morning and/or late evening training at the beginning of each semester **Preferred Qualifications:** •Experience with or knowledge of Snow College's Interactive Video Conferencing system •Familiarity with Canvas or other learning management systems •Experience providing technical support, training, or customer service •Basic videography and video editing skills •Experience with Webex, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms Physical Requirements: •Ability to move, set up, and/or install audiovisual equipment as needed •Ability to sit and use computers or related equipment for extended periods •Ability to move quickly between campus locations to provide real-time technical support ## Major Responsibilities/Duties • Provide daily operational support for Snow College's Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) system  • Assist with the setup, operation, and delivery of IVC broadcast classes, meetings, and special events  • Monitor IVC sessions and provide real-time technical support to facilitators, instructors, and participants • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and mechanical issues related to IVC classroom technology  • Help train and mentor IVC facilitators to ensure effective classroom and meeting coverage  • Assist faculty with Webex integration, course recordings, and Canvas tools related to instruction  • Create, update, and maintain facilitator training materials, instructional videos, and Canvas training-course content.  • Support Lucy Phillips Building Technology Assistants by helping resolve classroom technology and equipment issues.  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of IVC meetings and events as needed  • Maintain documentation related to equipment, procedures, and training resources  • Perform other duties as assigned ## Additional Information **Applications received by 11:59 PM on June 11, 2026, will be eligible for review by the hiring committee.
