J&L Operator
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM
Location: Conway, AR Area
Penmac Staffing is hiring a J&L Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Conway area. This position is responsible for setting up and operating a J&L machine, monitoring product quality, maintaining production records, and supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Requirements for the J&L Operator
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read work orders, production paperwork, and safety instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to use hand tools and perform minor machine maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
J&L Operator Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the J&L machine according to production specifications
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
- Complete production records, downtime logs, and other required documentation
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist with training and supporting crew members when needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements
- Work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a loud production setting
