Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Food Runner-J Paul's Italian Steakhouse-Part Time" for the All-New J Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. The J has a unique blend of original art, live music, bold flavors, luxurious accommodations, and exciting casino action…And we are just getting started!

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods
• Deliver quality food to guests and communicate frequently with both Front of House and Back of House team members
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food quality and presentation
• Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the J Resort standard of excellence
• Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience
• Effectively communicate with our guests and other Team Members
• Stay calm under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skill
• Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol and follows the Nevada Alcohol Awareness Procedures and The J Resort Company Policies
• Keep all surfaces, equipment, and floors free of food and debris

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• Must have an understanding of English
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must have working knowledge of the food service industry
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
