The Driving Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering a clean, efficient, and welcoming experience for guests.
Compensation: $17.80 per hour
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate the driving range counter - sell range buckets, process transactions accurately, and assist guests with purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area and shop space.
- Pick range balls using the mechanical picker and range vehicle, following scheduled rotation.
- Clean, sort, and restock range balls to ensure consistent supply throughout operating hours.
- Monitor range conditions and communicate any safety concerns or maintenance needs to management.
- Greet guests professionally and answer questions about range operations, pricing, and facility amenities.
- Enforce range rules and etiquette to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual - youre often the first face guests see.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to operate or willing to learn range picking equipment (training provided).
- Basic POS experience preferred.
- Interest in golf or the golf industry a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak season.
Work Environment:
This is a physically active, outdoor-heavy role. Attendants split time between counter service and range maintenance. Expect a fast-paced environment during peak hours, particularly on weekends and warm weather days. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; physical stamina required for extended periods of standing, walking, and outdoor work.
