This position offers a unique opportunity to support recovery, reduce barriers to successful reentry, and help individuals transition from incarceration to community-based care.Required qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work or CounselingOne year of clinical experience in a substance use disorder and/or correctional settingMust be eligible for Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) supervision approval in Virginia within 30 days of hire.What You'll DoAs a Jail-Based Therapist, you will provide behavioral health and substance use services to individuals participating in the Hampton City Jail Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program.
