Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.
• Entry level janitorial experience helpful but not required.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
• Ability to wear steel toe shoes.

What You Will Do

As a Janitor you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep, ensuring doors are locked after hours. You will help maintain safe, organized, and sanitary environments while following established cleaning procedures and workplace safety standards.
