Ranger Die is seeking an experienced Janitor for a full time, day shift position. This position includes full service janitorial responsibility for a manufacturing facility, as well as some minor facilities maintenance work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
- Clean and service restrooms and break rooms.
- Gather and dispose of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.
- Remove recycling materials.
- Clean machines as needed.
- Clean grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris.
- Sweep walks, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies; requisition supplies, equipment, tools, and materials as needed, through the purchasing department.
- Maintain records as required.
- Make recommendations for repair and improvements to buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Assist with facilities tasks such as small plumbing, painting, shop organization, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
