Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor / Custodian to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you'll play an important part in creating a positive environment for both employees and visitors by ensuring our spaces are well-maintained and presentable. Your work directly contributes to the comfort, safety, and daily experience of everyone who enters our facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs scheduled cleaning duties at or around the break rooms, common areas, restrooms, patio areas, smoking areas, office spaces, interior and exterior stairwells, elevators, and coffee stations throughout the day per master cleaning schedule.
Replenishes coffee stations with condiments as needed; makes the initial coffee for the day at all designated coffee stations.
Collect and remove recycling materials and trash as needed throughout the facility.
Disinfects door knobs, faucets, door handles, lobby area, hallways, restrooms and other common areas.
Restocks janitorial closets as needed. Arranges and maintains main janitorial supply cage as needed.
Other duties as required including setup of training theater for scheduled events, food arrangement and cleanup at special events as needed, cleanup of spills as needed, etc.
Support custodial functions as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
6-12 months of prior janitorial experience; exposure to custodial practices, equipment, and standards in both factory and office environments preferred.
Capable of using hand tools and small power equipment.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 / hour
