Janitor / Custodian – Day Shift (Part-Time)
Location: Eldon, MO Penmac Staffing is hiring a dependable Janitor / Custodian for a clean, safety-focused facility in Eldon. This is a part-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Schedule and Pay
- Pay: $17.25 per hour
- Hours: 25–35 hours per week
- Shift: Day shift starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Daily hours: 4–6 hours per day
Janitor / Custodian Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper daily
- Perform weekly detailed restroom cleaning, including toilet bases and stall walls
- Empty trash in office areas daily
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed
- Use personal protective equipment correctly, including safety glasses and gloves
- Follow customer requirements and understand the importance of quality standards
- Actively support workplace safety by attending safety meetings, participating in safety walks, audits, and improvement initiatives
- Report unsafe conditions and assist with incident investigations and safety documentation
- Show initiative, accept new responsibilities, and work well with others
- Attend required training sessions
Requirements for the Janitor / Custodian
- Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to lift 20–50 lbs. occasionally and 10–25 lbs. frequently
- Willingness to follow all safety rules and procedures
