Cleaning Equipment, Furniture, Housekeeping/Cleaning, Lift/Move 100 Pounds, Lift/Move 25 Pounds, Mathematics, Operating Systems, Time Management, Waste/Garbage/Recycle Collection
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Report to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
- Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to use basic measurement tools
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
- Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability and willingness to change job functions at a moment's notice
