About the Position
Department: Admin
Reports to: General Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose
Performs custodial work in offices, warehouse, shop and other building interiors
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using proper equipment
- Follows assigned cleaning schedule
- With the use of ladders, dust, and wash walls
- Clean ceilings and dust and polish light fixtures, as needed
- Empty trash cans for all areas of the facility
- Wash and replace blinds
- Clean and maintain restrooms & supplies
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas
- May remove stains from surfaces, such as rugs, drapes, walls and floors using proper chemicals and cleaners
- May sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass and remove snow during appropriate seasons
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to handle heights
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs
- Basic data entry and keyboarding skills preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
