We are looking for a Janitor who has commercial cleaning experience. This individual is responsible for maintaining the manufacturing/production areas, interior office, and/or the exterior landscape of the building/facility.
Responsibilities:
- Routinely wipes down any shared surfaces with alcohol to sterilize the facility, including, but not limited to: door handles, light switches, break room tables, microwaves, refrigerators, hand sanitizer dispensers, bathroom fixtures, etc.)
- Cleans, mops, sweeps, and sanitizes production rooms, inspection areas, production floors, and surrounding manufacturing areas.
- Cleans, mops, sweeps, sanitizes, and vacuums offices, cubicles, hallways, and stairs-ways.
- Cleans, dusts, and wipes windows, mirrors, countertops, and other furniture using dust mittens, cloths or other hand-cleaning items.
- Observes and ensures the production floor is clean, free of oil and water spills to prevent slips/falls and other injuries.
- Gathers and disposes of waste materials from wastebaskets/trash containers in all production and manufacturing areas, offices, and/or cubicles.
- Operates and uses industrial janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning compounds/solutions with proper PPE appropriate to tasks.
- Keeps cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies properly labeled and in good working condition.
- Cleans and buffs the floor as needed.
- Restock restroom and lunchroom dispensers with hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Keeps utility and storage room in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
- Reports shortage of janitorial products/supplies to the supervisor to reorder, as needed.
- Completes all necessary documentation and ensures the logbooks are filled out correctly per cGMP's and company’s guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School or GED plus, but not required.
- 1-2 years of work experience preferred.
- Able to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to speak and understand English.
Pay Structure and Benefits: - Competitive Wages, 1st shift - $18.50-$21.00/hour
