Janitor

Job Summary: Access Medical Labs is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our medical laboratory facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe and sterile environment, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, carpets, walls, and furniture.
• Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, laboratory areas, and common spaces to meet health and safety regulations.
• Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and hazardous materials following established protocols.
• Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, especially when handling chemicals and hazardous materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1+ years of previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
