We are hiring immediately for full-time Janitor Lead positions.
Location: New Kent County Schools - 8325 South Quaker Road, Quinton, VA 23141. Openings at other locations within the school district are available. Note: Online applications are accepted only.
Schedule: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details will be provided upon interview. Full and part-time positions with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs.
Requirement: Prior floor care and/or supervisory experience is required. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary
Summary: Performs administrative tasks, trains team members, and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety compliance, and company policies. • Conducts one-on-one training as needed. • Updates and provides training on the use of janitorial equipment, PPE, and chemical usagesafety. • Copies training material and revises material as needed. • Conducts administrative tasks as requested. • Provides feedback on new associates during the orientation period. • Reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance. • Provides recommendations to the training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate. • Performs reviews, such as monthly safety performance reviews, to ensure compliance with OSHA Risk Management and other applicable company, federal, state, and local requirements and policies. • Performs walk-through building inspections as required. • Performs other duties as assigned.
