Commonwealth Motors is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team in Lawrence, MA. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and performing general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Maintain and repair equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
- Ensure all common areas, restrooms, and office spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Monitor and report any facility issues to management.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of company events or meetings when required.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift moderate weights.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Effective communication skills.
