Janitor

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas. Success in this position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established cleaning procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned facility areas.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and sanitation requirements.
• Follow cleanroom gowning and contamination control procedures when working in designated areas.
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other facility essentials.
• Perform routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or cleanliness concerns promptly.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals according to company procedures.
• Maintain organized cleaning supply storage areas and monitor inventory levels.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other facility support duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with production and plant personnel to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workplace.
• Follow all company safety policies and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, or related cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to follow cleanroom gowning and contamination control procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks while standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work Second shift hours 1pm to 930pm.
