SUMMARY

Under the immediate supervision of the Convenience/Gas Station Manager or designee, the employee is responsible for maintaining the establishment in a clean and orderly condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform any combination of tasks to maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly condition. • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as operating a power washer, mopping floors, cleaning lavatories, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. • Perform routine maintenance activities; notify management of needed repairs and additions, and clean sidewalks. • Must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations. • Must be able to work any shift. • Other job duties may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to work well with others, including diverse personalities. • Ability to work with minimum supervision. • Ability to work inside/outside in varied temperatures • Able to lift to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in the English language. Cocopah & Spanish language a plus, but not required. • Practice good organizational and time management skills. • Flexible in work hours to cover evenings, weekends, holidays, and events • Must have reliable transportation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred • 2 years of work experience in a related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Applicants must be in good physical health as this job requires a considerable amount of walking and lifting.

By our policy and procedure manual, newly hired employees pay shall be set to at least the minimum value of the pay schedule to which the position has been allocated according to our Pay schedule based on education and experience, but pay shall not exceed the midpoint for the pay grade.
