Job Description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a Temporary Janitor for our manufacturing client in the Colorado

Springs area. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated candidate who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Colorado Springs, 80915

Days: June 15-29

Shift: 8am-noon

Pay: $17/hour

Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect various surfaces, including floors, countertops, and restrooms.
Sanitize frequently touched areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors.
Perform deep cleaning on carpets and hard surfaces, including stripping, waxing, and polishing.
Ensure proper disposal of waste, including handling hazardous materials when needed.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of custodial/janitorial experience
Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies, including mops, vacuums, brooms, and cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
