Janitorial Cleaner - Jasper - FT (Office)

Position Details:

POSITION TYPE: Full - Time

PAY RATE: $14.00/ Hr

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday | 4:30 PM - 12:00 AM

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Frantz Building Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional office environment. Candidates should take pride in their work, demonstrate reliability, and have strong attention to detail.

Position Summary:

The Janitorial Cleaner will perform routine cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout office spaces, break rooms, conference rooms, restrooms, stairwells, lobbies, and other common areas. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional cleaning services while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Lobby Areas

• Empty trash receptacles
• Spot clean interior glass
• Clean entrance doors and entry glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Remove smudges, stains, and fingerprints
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Office Areas (3 Areas with Multiple Offices)

• Empty trash receptacles
• Spot clean interior glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Remove smudges, stains, and fingerprints
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Conference Rooms

• Empty trash receptacles
• Spot clean interior glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Remove smudges, stains, and fingerprints
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week
• Arrange chairs around tables
• Clean and sanitize fixtures
• Maintain coffee and refreshment areas

First Aid Room

• Empty trash receptacles
• Spot clean interior glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Remove smudges, stains, and fingerprints from surfaces
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Break Rooms (2)

• Empty trash receptacles
• Spot clean interior glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Remove smudges, stains, and fingerprints from surfaces
• Arrange chairs around tables
• Clean and sanitize tables and chairs
• Clean and sanitize countertops, fixtures, and exterior appliance surfaces
• Clean and sanitize microwaves
• Clean inside refrigerators every Friday
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Restrooms (3 Restroom Groups with Multiple Stalls)

• Empty trash receptacles
• Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
• Spot clean walls, doors, and stall partitions
• Clean, sanitize, and polish restroom fittings
• Clean and sanitize trash receptacles and dispensers
• Spot dust surfaces
• Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, and fixtures
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas where applicable
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Stairwells (3)

• Spot clean interior glass
• Spot dust surfaces
• Clean handrails
• Dust mop hard-surface floors
• Damp mop hard-surface floors
• Spot vacuum carpeted areas
• Detailed vacuuming once per week

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment (25-50 lbs)

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks

• Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment

**Must have reliable transportation**
