Janitorial Cleaner - Owensboro - FT ( Factory 1st & 2nd)

Position Details:

POSITION TYPE: Full - Time

PAY RATE: $14.00 - $14.50 / Hr

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM | $14.00/ Hr

OR

Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM | $14.50 /Hr

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Entrance Ways

• Clean glass doors and door frames

• Vacuum walk-off mats

• Dust high and low surfaces

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Spot clean all glass surfaces

• Dust mop floors

• Damp mop floors

Lobby and Hallways

• Clean and sanitize tables

• Arrange furniture as needed

• Empty trash receptacles

• Dust all surfaces

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Remove scuff marks from walls and doors

• Dust mop floors

• Damp mop floors

Greeting Rooms (2) and Conference Rooms (5)

• Clean and sanitize tables

• Arrange furniture

• Empty trash

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Wipe and sanitize surfaces

• Dust mop floors

President's Office (Monthly Cleaning)

• Dust all surfaces

• Detail dust high and low areas

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Damp wipe surfaces

• Vacuum and brush upholstered furniture

• Clean and sanitize tables

• Empty trash

• Detail vacuum carpets

• Sanitize telephones

• Dust desk and office furnishings

Restroom Cleaning

• Pour water into floor drains once per week

• Empty sanitary disposal containers

• Clean and polish water stations

• Empty trash receptacles

• Check and refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers

• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, partitions, and fixtures

• Clean sinks, mirrors, and countertops

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Dust surfaces

• Polish all chrome fixtures

• Dust mop floors

• Damp mop floors

Cafeterias (2)

• Arrange furniture

• Clean exterior surfaces of trash cans

• Clean glass doors and door frames

• Clean and sanitize chairs and tables

• Clean and sanitize countertops

• Clean and polish sinks

• Clean coffee stations

• Vacuum walk-off mats

• Empty trash

• Clean inside and outside of microwaves

• Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors

• Remove scuff marks

• Dust mop floors

• Damp mop floors

Smoking Area

• Pick up litter and debris

• Empty and remove trash

• Maintain a clean and presentable outdoor area

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

• Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds

• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
