Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Janitorial and Pool Attendant. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Responsibilities include ensuring the pool area is well-maintained and presentable, as well as monitoring the space and providing assistance to residents as needed.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the swimming pool area and surrounding facilities.
  • Clean and stock restrooms.
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout the property.
  • Maintain common grounds and outdoor areas to ensure a clean and attractive environment.
  • Monitor the Lazy River and pool area as a Pool Attendant.
  • Ensure guests follow all pool and Lazy River rules and safety guidelines.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous custodial experience preferred.  
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.  
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.  
  • Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. 
  • Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone. 
  • Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills. 
  • Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns. 
 
 
Physical Requirements:

  • Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary. 
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
  • This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.  
What We Offer:  
As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
 
Compensation: 
$18.00 per hour
