Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces (handles, desks).
- Waste Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Surface Maintenance: Dust and polish furniture, clean mirrors, and wash windows or glass surfaces.
- Supply Management: Monitor, restock, and inventory cleaning supplies, paper products, and soap.
- Facility Upkeep: Perform minor repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs) and report major maintenance issues to management.
- Safety & Security: Follow health and safety procedures, ensure doors are locked, and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Optional Duties: May include, depending on the site, mowing lawns, removing snow from walkways, or operating heavy cleaning machinery like floor buffers.
