Service Technicians handle the specialty work our regular crews do not: floor care, project cleaning, and troubleshooting problems across multiple client buildings in the Richmond area. You will define expectations for cleaning at the sites you cover, train staff on proper technique, and spot opportunities to improve how we service a building. Every day looks a little different.Schedule and Pay RatePart-Time: 5pm-10pm - Monday through Friday - Some Weekends required - 5 hours/night - 25 hours/weekFull-Time: Flex start hours according to need - Some Weekends required - Part-Time: $18/hourFull-Time: $19/hourWhat you'll do • Perform floor and surface care across client sites, including [stripping and waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, tile and grout work) • Travel between client buildings in the Richmond area on a daily/nightly or weekly route • Define cleaning expectations at the sites you cover and train staff members on correct technique and chemical use • Diagnose problems and identify opportunities to improve our cleaning activities at each building • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial floor equipment, and report repair needs • Handle project and detail work outside the regular scope • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt responses to client requests and concerns. Cover cleaning positions for absent or vacationing employeesWhat you'll need • Authorization to work in the United States • 18 years of age or older • A valid driver's license and a good driving record, with no major offenses in the last 4 years • Supervisory experience preferred. You will set cleaning expectations, train staff members, and diagnose issues on your own • Flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities and the people you work with will vary • Ability to communicate effectively with client contacts, building occupants, and staff members • Education and work history that demonstrate work ethic and responsibility • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a contributing member of a team • Prior floor care experience is a strong plus.
