About the Job

We are seeking a full time experienced and dependable Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support both the janitorial team and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, schedule, and support janitorial staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and address any cleaning or maintenance deficiencies promptly.
  • Train and mentor staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and use of equipment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers or tenants regarding janitorial services.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, and chemicals.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and safely operated.
  • Verify timesheets, attendance, and assist with onboarding of new employees.
  • Communicate effectively with operations management and assist with service improvements.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2+ years of janitorial or custodial experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures, floor care, and equipment use.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills for completing reports and tracking supplies.
  • Must be able to perform physical cleaning tasks as needed (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, etc.).
  • Must successfully pass background check.
