Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Janitorial Supervisor to lead our
commercial cleaning team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily
custodial operations, ensuring facilities meet high sanitation and safety
standards, and training staff on proper cleaning techniques and equipment. The
ideal candidate is a strong motivator with excellent attention to detail and a
commitment to quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor new/established employees.
Hands-On Assistance: Assist with deep cleaning duties or fill in for absent staff to ensure operational continuity.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine site inspections to ensure all facilities (offices, restrooms, common areas, etc.) are clean, sanitary, and meet Rolling Hills Industries and client standards.
- Inventory & Equipment: Manage/Order and control the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensure all tools and equipment are in safe, working condition.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHAsafety standards, chemical handling (SDS), and floor care techniques.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, delegation, and time management skills..
- Physical: Ability to stand, walk, bend,and lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
