POSITION SUMMARY:

The Janitorial Team Member will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of designated areas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the facility as directed
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders / maintenance requests
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped for daily usage and scheduled events
• Assure all public use areas including restrooms, walkways, corridors, etc. are clean and up to standards prior to, during, and after each event
• Additional tasks assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years janitorial experience preferred
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision and as a team
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time
• Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)
• Must wear proper uniform
• Facility has intermittent noise
