Shift M-F, 3.5 hours per day.  Options available to add additional hours.

Janitorial Technician Full-Time,  2nd Shift, Monday-Friday

Job Position Description:


This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be Assigned:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restroom sanitation, moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use of provided and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required
• The ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is a must.
• Contribute to the work environment with a pleasant demeanor and by being in uniform, reliable, dependable, and on time.
• Demonstrate respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
• 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.

 Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and follow task lists  
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses as trained
