Janitorial Technician

The YMCA of Pueblo is looking for Summer Staff for our resident camp at Camp Jackson. Do you have a passion for working with children? Do you love the outdoors? Camp Jackson, a branch of the YMCA of Pueblo, is a residential camp located in Rye, CO.

Camp Jackson is looking for a Janitorial Technician who will enthusiastically represent the YMCA by displaying a positive attitude, maintain a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job through the four-character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Janitorial Technician will create a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals while keeping our facilities safe and clean and assist with dishwashing before/after meals. Our Janitorial Technician will work under the supervision of the Facility Coordinator and Camp Director. Meals and lodging available. This is a seasonal position.

• Cleaning of camper lodges/bathrooms
• Keep bathroom areas stocked and supplied
• Safety/Risk Management (ServSafe recommended)
• Will be required to work some stay over weekends as assigned
• These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required

• At least 18 years of age
• Great customer service
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Greet all visitors, campers, and staff with a professional and friendly attitude
• Act as a positive role model for campers and other staff, demonstrating the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in the performance of job duties
