Position Summary
Aeon is seeking a Building Technician to join the team at Exodus, a new 72-home permanent supportive housing community in Downtown Minneapolis. Developed in partnership with St. Olaf Catholic Church, Exodus will provide deeply affordable studio apartments for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.
The Building Technician is responsible for keeping Exodus clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on cleaning and property upkeep, with groundskeeping, trash removal, apartment turns, and basic maintenance responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs attention, and can manage daily responsibilities with limited direction. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with no on-call responsibilities.
The Building Technician reports directly to the Property Manager.

This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces and understands the important role property appearance plays in creating a positive living environment for residents. Aeon is seeking a dependable, self-motivated professional who is committed to providing excellent service, takes ownership of their work, and contributes positively to the resident experience and team environment.

Compensation, Schedule, & Location
This position pays $20-$22 per hour depending on experience and skillset.Aeon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement plan, generous paid time off, and an employee assistance program. In addition, Building Technicians at Aeon have NO On-Call!
This full-time position follows a Monday – Friday schedule from 8:30am-5pm. Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the role, including occasional adjustments for resident events, community activities, meetings, or other property-related responsibilities. This is an in-person role based at the assigned property, with occasional work at Aeon's Central Office, training facilities, or other properties as needed.
